Mother'S Day Kisses - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 egg whites
    1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    pinch of salt
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 225\u00b0.
    Beat egg whites until foamy.
    Add cream of tartar and salt.
    Beat until soft peaks form.
    Sprinkle sugar in gradually, a spoonful at a time.
    Continue beating until the whites are very stiff.
    Beat in vanilla.
    Drop heaping spoons on baking sheets.
    Bake for 1 hour or until golden brown.
    Makes about 30.
