Cracker Jacks - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
    1/3 c. Karo corn syrup
    1/2 stick melted margarine
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1 pinch salt
    3 qt. popped corn
    1 1/2 lb. peanuts or other favorite nut
Preparation
    Boil brown sugar, Karo syrup, margarine, soda, vanilla and salt for 5 minutes.
    Stir in nuts.
    Pour over popped corn (slowly) in a deep roasting pan.
    Bake at 250\u00b0 for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.
    Store in airtight containers.
