Favorite Pecan Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. pecan halves
1 (9-inch) pastry shell, unbaked
3 eggs
1/2 c. sugar
1 c. syrup (yellow label)
2 Tbsp. margarine, melted
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1/8 tsp. salt
Preparation

Place pecan halves in a pattern in bottom of unbaked pastry shell.
Beat eggs slightly.
Mix in syrup, sugar, margarine, vanilla and salt.
Gently pour into unbaked shell.
Bake at 400\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
Lower temperature to 350\u00b0 and cook an additional 30 minutes.
(Filling should be slightly less set in center than around edges.)
