Layered Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 head lettuce
    1 head cauliflower
    1 purple onion
    Parmesan cheese
    1 1/2 c. Hellmann's mayonnaise
    1 pkg. bacon, cooked and crumbled
    salt and pepper
    sugar
Preparation
    Shred lettuce in a bowl; cut cauliflower into pieces and place over lettuce.
    Cut onion in thin ringlets and place over cauliflower.
    Sprinkle Parmesan cheese over onion.
    Spread a layer of mayonnaise over mixture.
    Sprinkle sugar, salt and pepper over mayonnaise; top with crumbled bacon and cover.
    Make 24 hours ahead and toss salad before serving.
    Keep refrigerated.
