Custard Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 unbaked pie crust
    3 eggs, slightly beaten
    3/4 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3 c. milk or 1 1/2 c. evaporated milk and 1 1/2 c. water
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
Preparation
    Cream together eggs, sugar and salt.
    Stir in milk; add vanilla.
    Pour into pie shell; sprinkle with nutmeg.
    Bake in preheated 450\u00b0 oven for 15 minutes.
    Lower temperature to 350\u00b0 and continue baking for 30 to 35 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean.
