Carrot Torte - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 eggs, separated
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 lb. ground nuts (about 1 c.)
    1/2 tsp. almond flavoring
    1/2 lb. ground carrots (about 3 large)
Preparation
    Beat yolks until thick.
    Add sugar and beat.
    Add ground carrots and nuts.
    Beat thoroughly.
    Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites and flavoring.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
    Let stand in oven until it cools down a bit.
    (Bake in a spring-form pan.)
