Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 baked pie crust (not graham cracker)
    1 qt. plus about 10 fresh strawberries
    1 c. granulated sugar
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 c. cold water
    2 Tbsp. jello powder (strawberry preferably)
    fresh whipped cream (heavy), 1/2 to 1 pt. (as desired)
    2 Tbsp. sugar
Preparation
    Allow pie crust to cool.
    Wash and stem and sort berries. Leave whole unless very large.
    Cut large berries only in half. Over medium heat, combine water, sugar and cornstarch.
    Cook until clear and thick, stirring constantly.
    Remove from heat and stir in jello powder.
    Let this mixture cool to tepid heat.
    Arrange berries evenly in crust and pour jello mixture over as a glaze. Refrigerate at least 2 hours.
    Whip the cream, adding 2 teaspoons sugar at the end.
    Fold whipped cream over berries and glaze and serve.
