Chicken Cordon Bleu Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. cooked chicken
    1 c. cubed ham
    2 c. fine noodles
    6 Tbsp. butter
    1 medium onion, sliced
    1 c. sliced mushrooms
    3 Tbsp. flour
    2 c. milk, heated
    1/3 c. sherry, optional
    2 c. grated Swiss cheese
Preparation
    Cook noodles according to package, drain and rinse.
    Cook onion and mushrooms in butter until soft.
    Blend in flour; add hot milk and stir until thickened.
    Add sherry.
    Fold in cheese, reserving about 3 tablespoons for the top.
    Add noodles, chicken and ham.
    Pour into greased 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for about 45 minutes.
