Mud Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. granulated sugar
1/2 c. butter, melted
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. salt
2 eggs
1/3 c. flour
1/3 c. cocoa
1 c. chopped nuts
1/4 c. fudge sauce or fudge ice cream topping
1 c. chilled whipping cream
2 Tbsp. powdered sugar

Preparation

Preheat oven to 325\u00b0.
Grease round pan (8 x 1 1/2-inches) or 8 x 1 1/4-inch pie plate with shortening.
Mix granulated sugar, butter, vanilla, salt, eggs, flour and cocoa in a medium bowl with a wooden spoon; stir in nuts.
Pour into pan.
Bake 25 minutes.
