Ingredients

1 c. lard
1 c. sugar
2 c. molasses
1 tsp. soda, dissolved in a little hot water
1 tsp. ginger
1 tsp. allspice
1 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Add enough flour to make stiff enough to roll.
Chill overnight.
Roll real thin.
Cut out with desired shapes.
Bake 400\u00b0 for 8-10 minutes on greased cookie sheet.
