West Indies Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium onion, finely chopped
    4 oz. ice water
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 lb. white crabmeat
    4 oz. salad oil
    3 to 4 oz. cider vinegar
Preparation
    Place half the onion in mixing bowl.
    Arrange crabmeat over onion.
    Sprinkle with remaining onion.
    Blend remaining ingredients; pour over top.
    Refrigerate for 1 hour.
    Toss and serve.
    Makes 4 servings.
