Theresa'S Bean Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    16 oz. can lima beans
    16 oz. can chickpeas
    16 oz. can kidney beans
    16 oz. can string beans
    1 large onion
    3/4 c. white vinegar
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 c. oil
Preparation
    Drain beans.
    Combine vinegar, sugar and oil.
    In saucepan, heat until sugar is dissolved.
    Cut up onion.
    Put beans and onion in large bowl.
    Pour liquid over beans.
    Cover.
    Refrigerate overnight.
