Chili Con Carne - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 tsp. vegetable oil
2 medium onions, chopped
1 medium carrot, diced
2 garlic cloves, minced
10 oz. lean ground beef
2 Tbsp. plus 1 1/2 tsp. mild or hot chili powder
2 tsp. ground cumin
2 cups canned whole Italian tomatoes, coarsely chopped
1 tsp. dried oregano
1/4 tsp. ground cloves
1/4 tsp. ground red pepper
4 oz. black beans, cooked and drained
Preparation

In large saucepan, heat oil; add onions and carrot. Cook over medium heat, stirring frequently, 3-5 minutes, until onions are softened. Add garlic; cook, stirring frequently, 5 minutes, until onions are golden brown.
