Creole Chicken Dinner - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. chicken broth
    2 c. cut up chicken or turkey
    1 c. finely chopped smoked ham
    1/4 c. tomato paste
    1/2 to 3/4 tsp. red pepper
    1 small green pepper, chopped
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 clove garlic, crushed
    1 can whole tomatoes, undrained
    1 can shrimp, rinsed and drained
    2 c. uncooked instant rice
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients except rice in 3-quart saucepan.
    Break up tomatoes.
    Boil, then stir in rice.
    Cover and remove from heat.
    Let stand 5 minutes or until all water is absorbed.
    Fluff with fork.
