Fluffy Cheese Puffs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 oz. cream cheese
    1/2 c. butter
    4 oz. Cheddar cheese, cubed
    3 egg whites
    1 loaf unsliced white bread, crust removed
Preparation
    Melt cream cheese, butter and Cheddar cheese in a pan either over hot water or over very low heat, stirring until smooth.
    Cool to lukewarm.
    Beat egg whites stiff and fold into the cooled cheese mixture.
    Cut bread into 1-inch cubes.
    Dip each cube into the cheese mixture.
    Using a fork, swirl it around to coat completely.
    (Often, you'll have to spread cheese mixture on bread with a knife.) Place on greased sheet and refrigerate overnight. Preheat oven to 400\u00b0.
    Bake for 8 minutes or until light brown. Yields 5 1/2 dozen.
