Fried Apples - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 large firm apples
    2 Tbsp. brown sugar
    3 Tbsp. butter
    cinnamon
    nutmeg
Preparation
    Core apples.
    Do not pare.
    Cut in 1/2-inch slices.
    Melt butter in large heavy skillet.
    Add apple slices.
    Sprinkle with brown sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg.
    Cook over medium heat, turning apples until golden brown and tender.
    Makes 8 servings.
