Grape-Nuts Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. Grape-Nuts
    1/4 c. melted margarine
    1/2 c. sugar
    3 eggs, well beaten
    2 c. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/8 tsp. nutmeg or cinnamon
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. raisins (optional)
Preparation
    Mix cereal with margarine.
    Beat sugar into eggs; add cereal mixture and remaining ingredients, blending well.
    Pour into 1-quart baking dish; place in pan of hot water.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
    Stir thoroughly.
    Bake 20 minutes longer, or until knife inserted 1-inch from center comes out clean.
    Serve warm or cool with whipped cream.
