Lorraine'S German Potato Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

5 lb. red potatoes, cooked and cooled
1 large white onion
3 Tbsp. sugar
1 lb. bacon, diced and fried (save grease)
1/4 c. white vinegar
salt and pepper to taste
Preparation

Cook potatoes.
Cool, peel and slice them in a large bowl. Add chopped onion.
Add sugar.
Cook diced bacon until crisp. Pour over potatoes, onion and sugar.
Bring to boil the vinegar. Pour over potatoes.
Mix.
If you need more vinegar, add 1/4 cup at a time.
