Southern Tea Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/4 c. all-purpose flour, sifted
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 c. butter, softened
    1 c. sugar
    2 eggs, beaten
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 Tbsp. milk
Preparation
    Sift flour, salt and baking powder together.
    Cream butter, sugar and eggs.
    Add vanilla, milk and dry ingredients.
    Blend well.
    Place dough on lightly floured surface.
    Sprinkle a little flour over dough and roll to about 1/2-inch thick.
    Cut with cookie cutter and place on lightly greased cookie sheet.
    Prick tops with fork and bake 12 to 15 minutes at 350\u00b0 or until lightly browned on top.
