Yule Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. Brazil nuts (whole)
    1 1/2 c. walnut halves
    1 (7 1/4 oz.) pkg. pitted dates
    1/3 c. maraschino cherries
    1/2 c. red candied cherries
    1/2 c. seedless raisins
    3/4 c. sifted flour
    3/4 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    3 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Place nuts, dates, cherries and raisins in a large bowl. Measure flour, baking powder and salt into sifter.
    Sift over nuts and fruit; mix well.
