Heavenly Hushpuppies - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 cups self rising cornmeal
1 cup self rising flour
3 Tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
3 large eggs
1 cup chopped onion
1/4 cup whole kernel corn
1/4 cup chopped bell pepper
buttermilk
1/8 cup hot pepper (optional) for more spicy hushpuppies
Preparation

Mix all ingredients.
Add enough buttermilk until mixture has a coarse consistency.
In a large pot heat vegetable oil to 325 degrees. (Try to maintain a constant temperature.)
Spoon mixture into hot oil.
Cook until golden brown.
