Seven Minute Frosting - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 egg whites
    1 1/2 tsp. corn syrup or 1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
    1/3 c. cold water
    dash of salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Mix all in top of double boiler except vanilla.
    Beat one minute to blend.
    Cook over boiling water for 7 minutes.
    Add vanilla; don't overcook.
    Beat 2 more minutes.
