Connie'S Crazy Chocolate Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1 egg
1/2 c. shortening
1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. cocoa
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. flour, sifted once
1/2 c. boiling water

Preparation

Put the ingredients in a mixing bowl in the order given.
Do not stir until the water is added.
Beat for 3 minutes.
Bake on 350\u00b0 for approximately 30 to 45 minutes until done.
Cake is done when a knife inserted in center comes out clean.
