Blonde Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick margarine
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 egg
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. baking soda
    1 c. flour
    1/2 c. nuts
    1/2 c. chocolate bits
Preparation
    Melt margarine and sugar.
    Cool.
    Add beaten egg, baking powder, salt and baking soda into flour.
    Stir in nuts and chocolate bits.
    Pour into lightly greased 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Bake for 20 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    Cut into about 24 small squares.
