Pork Chops A La Vineyards - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. white vinegar
    2 Tbsp. chopped green pepper
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. water
    4 tsp. cornstarch, stirred into 2 Tbsp. water
    2 Tbsp. parsley
    2 tsp. paprika
    4 (1 1/2-inch) pork chops
Preparation
    Mix first 5 ingredients in a saucepan and simmer 5 minutes. Add cornstarch mixture to thicken.
    When thickened, add parsley and paprika.
    Bake pork chops 30 minutes at 450\u00b0.
    Remove chops to another dish.
    Add sauce and bake 1 1/2 hours at 300\u00b0.
    Serves 4.
