Crock-Pot Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    stew meat
    carrots
    1 (16 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1 can water
    garlic (to taste)
    onion (cook with meat)
    3 cloves
    1 bay leaf
    1 can stewed tomatoes
    1 tsp. sugar
    potatoes
Preparation
    Brown meat with onions in a skillet.
    Place in crock-pot (low) with all other ingredients except potatoes.
    Cook 3 hours (up to 6 hours on low).
    Add potatoes approximately 45 minutes prior to being served.
    To thicken, add a little flour and water (in a shaker mix) to mixture.
    The longer you can let simmer, the better. (Don't forget the corn bread!)
