Broccoli-Mandarin Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large egg
    1 egg white
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 1/2 tsp. cornstarch
    1 tsp. dry mustard
    1/4 c. garlic wine vinegar
    1/4 c. water
    1/2 c. nonfat mayonnaise
    3 Tbsp. light butter
    4 c. fresh broccoli flowerets, lightly blanched and chilled
    2 c. sliced fresh mushrooms
    1 small purple onion, sliced
    1 (11 oz.) can mandarin oranges, drained
    6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
    1/2 c. raisins
    1/2 c. slivered almonds *
Preparation
    *Scatter in shallow pan and bake at 400\u00b0 for about 10 minutes or until lightly toasted.
    Don't let burn.
