Old Family Barbecue Joes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. ground venison
    5 to 6 onions, chopped
    32 oz. Heinz ketchup
    1/4 c. vinegar
    1/2 box mixed pickling spice, tied into a double cheesecloth bag
Preparation
    Cook together ground venison and onions until meat is browned and onion is transparent.
    Drain.
    Add ketchup, vinegar and spice.
    Simmer over low heat for 2 1/2 hours, stirring and moving spice bag every half hour.
    Remove bag and serve on buns or bread. Makes 8 to 10 servings.
