Banana Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. milk
    2 Tbsp. flour
    3 egg yolks (save the whites)
    1 c. sugar
    4 bananas, cut up
    line pan with vanilla wafers
Preparation
    Combine in heavy pot first sugar and flour (blend them well), then add milk using a whisk.
    Add egg yolks.
    Turn on the stove burner, cook until thickened, continue stirring or it will lump up and stick.
    Pour over bananas and vanilla wafers alternately layered.
    Beat egg whites for topping or you can use whip cream for the topping.
    If using egg whites you have to bake the pie until egg whites are golden brown.
    Let cool and serve.
