Ninety Minute Dinner Rolls - cooking recipe

2 to 2 1/2 c. flour
2 Tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 pkg. active dry yeast
1/2 c. milk
1/4 c. water
2 Tbsp. butter
Preparation

Mix 3/4 cup flour, sugar, salt and undissolved yeast.
Heat milk, water and butter until liquids are very warm (120\u00b0 to 130\u00b0). Butter need not melt.
Gradually add to dry ingredients and beat 2 minutes at medium speed of mixer.
Add 1/4 cup flour.
Beat at high speed 2 minutes.
Stir in enough additional flour to make a soft dough.
On floured board, knead 2 to 3 minutes until smooth.
