Gingered Pineapple Lamb - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 lamb sirloin chops (1-inch thick)
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1 tsp. cornstarch
    1/2 c. pineapple juice (unsweetened)
    2 Tbsp. green peppers, chopped
    1 tsp. soy sauce
    1/4 tsp. ground ginger
Preparation
    Preheat broiler.
    Meanwhile, trim fat from chops.
    Place chops on the unheated rack of broiler pan.
    Broil 3-inches from heat for 6 minutes.
    Turn chops over and broil for 4 to 6 minutes until desired doneness.
    Make sauce in a small saucepan.
    Stir together sugar and cornstarch.
    Stir in pineapple juice, green peppers, soy sauce and ginger.
    Cook, stirring mixture until thickened and bubbly. Cook and stir for 2 minutes more.
    Serve sauce over chops.
