Banana Date Nut Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 extra-ripe bananas
2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1 c. granulated sugar
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
3/4 c. butter (or margarine), softened
1/2 c. sour cream
3 eggs
1 c. chopped dates
1 c. chopped walnuts
powdered sugar
Preparation

In food processor or blender, process bananas until pureed. In large bowl, combine flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
Beat in bananas, butter and sour cream. Stir in dates and walnuts.
Pour batter into greased and floured 13 x 9 x 2-inch pans.
Bake in preheated 350\u00b0 oven 45 to 50 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Let cool in pan on wire rack.
Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
