Clam Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Tbsp. oil or butter
    1/4 c. minced onion
    2 c. diced potatoes
    1/2 c. water
    2 c. milk
    1 tsp. salt
    dash of salt
    1 (6 1/2 oz.) can clams
Preparation
    Saute onions in oil until limp.
    Add potatoes and water.
    Cook 10 minutes or until tender.
    Add milk, spices and clams just before serving and bring to a boil.
    Allow to cook a few minutes before serving.
