Grandmother'S Brown Beans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. pinto beans
    3 slices bacon or ham hock
Preparation
    Soak the beans in hot water for 10 minutes.
    Bring to boil 4 cups of water.
    Add the bacon or ham hock; add beans.
    Boil for 3 hours.
    Lower flame; cook until juice thickens.
