Pickled Beets - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. vinegar
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. water
    fresh beets
Preparation
    Cook beets until tender; skin and slice.
    Mix vinegar, sugar and water; bring to a boil.
    Add sliced beets.
    Return to a boil; cook 3 to 5 minutes.
    Put in jars and seal.
