Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 qt. fresh berries
1 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry Jell-O
1 Tbsp. butter
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
1 baked pastry shell
Preparation

In
saucepan
combine sugar and cornstarch.
Mash 1 cup berries. Add water to make 2 cups and stir into sugar mixture. Cook, stir and boil 2 minutes.
Remove from heat.
Add butter, gelatin
and
lemon
juice;
stir
until gelatin is dissolved. Chill
until
partially
set.
Pour
1/3 mixture in pie shell. Add whole berries and cover with remaining mixture.
Chill and serve with whipped topping.
