Lemon Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter or margarine
    1 c. flour
    1/4 c. powdered sugar
    1 c. granulated sugar
    2 tsp. grated lemon peel
    2 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 eggs
Preparation
    Mix thoroughly flour, margarine and powdered sugar in a small bowl.
    Press evenly with hands in bottom and about 5/8-inch up sides of an ungreased square 8 x 8 x 2-inch pan.
    Bake 20 minutes. Beat remaining ingredients in a medium bowl on medium speed until light and fluffy.
    Pour over base and bake until no indentation remains when touched lightly in the center, about 25 minutes.
    Let stand until cool; then cut into about 1 1/2-inch squares.
