Applesauce Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 1/2 c. applesauce
1/2 c. shortening
2 c. sugar
1 egg
2 1/2 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. cloves
1/2 tsp. allspice
1 c. raisins
1/2 c. boiling water with 2 tsp. soda
1/2 c. nuts

Preparation

Cream shortening.
Add sugar gradually.
Add beaten egg and applesauce.
Stir in flour and spices alternately with water and soda mix.
Pour into greased tube pan.
Bake 1 hour at 350\u00b0.
