Rum Sauced Bananas - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. apple juice
    4 Tbsp. brown sugar
    1 tsp. margarine
    3 large bananas, peeled and sliced (at least 2 c.)
    1 Tbsp. rum
Preparation
    Add brown sugar and margarine to the apple juice and simmer over medium heat.
    Add bananas and cook until bananas become very soft.
    Add rum and cook for 1 minute.
    Remove from heat and cool slightly.
    Serve over ice cream or cake.
    Serves 3. Recipe doubles easily.
