Ingredients

1 c. flour
pinch of salt
1 Tbsp. melted butter
2 eggs
2/3 c. milk
3 or 4 onions
Preparation

Peel onions under water.
Slice in bowl of milk.
Let stand 15 minutes. Drain. Beat eggs.
Add salt, pepper, milk and flour to make smooth batter. Dip onions in batter and drop in deep hot fat or dip onions in flour and fry.
