Egg Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 cups cornmeal
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon soda
2 egg yolks, beaten
2 cups buttermilk
2 egg whites, beaten
Preparation

Sift dry ingredients together.\tAdd egg yolks to buttermilk and stir into dry ingredients.
Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites. Pour into greased black iron skillet.
Bake at 400 degrees 25 minutes or until brown.
