Orange-Ginger Glazed Carrots - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 medium carrots, cut into 1-inch chunks
    3 c. water
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. orange juice
    1 tsp. cornstarch
    1/4 tsp. ground ginger
    2 Tbsp. butter
Preparation
    Cook carrots in the water with 1 1/2 teaspoons salt; drain. Combine sugar, cornstarch, 1/4 teaspoon salt, ginger and orange juice in a saucepan.
    Cook until thickened.
    Stir in butter.
    Pour over cooked carrots and heat through.
    Serves 4.
