Watergate Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (20 oz.) crushed pineapple
    1 box Jell-O pistachio instant pudding
    1 c. miniature marshmallows
    1/2 to 1 c. chopped pecans
    9 oz. Cool Whip
    maraschino cherries
Preparation
    Mix dry instant pudding mix with pineapple.
    Fold in pecans, marshmallows and Cool Whip.
    Top with cherries.
    Chill thoroughly before serving.
