Punch Bowl Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 box yellow cake mix
1 large carton Cool Whip
1 can cherry pie filling
1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple
1 large box instant vanilla pudding
Preparation

Make cake by directions on package and bake in a 13 x 9-inch pan.
Let cool.
Also, make vanilla pudding by package directions. Start by crumbling 1/3 of cake in bottom of punch bowl or large salad bowl.
Spoon 1/3 of pudding over cake.
Spoon cherries and pineapple (use slotted spoon), leaving enough for 2 more layers. Spread layer of Cool Whip over this.
Repeat until all ingredients are used, ending with Cool Whip on top.
