Pineapple Upside-Down Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    4 canned pineapple slices, halved
    1/3 c. shortening
    1 1/4 c. self-rising flour, sifted
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. pineapple juice
    1/2 tsp. grated lemon peel
    1 egg
Preparation
    Melt butter in an 8 x 8 x 2-inch pan.
    Stir in brown sugar. Arrange pineapple in mixture.
    Stir shortening to soften.
    Stir in dry ingredients.
    Add juice, lemon peel and egg; mix until all flour is dampened.
    Beat 2 minutes.
    Pour batter over pineapple. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes or until done.
    Let stand 10 minutes; invert on plate.
