Chicken-A-La Hawaiian - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 chickens, cooked
1/2 c. barbecue sauce
1/2 c. orange juice
1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1/4 c. oil or butter
2 tsp. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 can crushed pineapple
1 can sliced water chestnuts
1 tsp. powdered ginger
cooked rice
roasted chopped almonds
Preparation

Combine barbecue sauce, orange juice, brown sugar, oil, flour and salt.
Mix well. Cook in skillet until mixture comes to a boil and thickens slightly.
Cut chicken in small pieces.
Put in baking dish.
Pour gravy mixture over chicken. Add pineapple, water chestnuts and ginger in sprinkling method over the top. Bake in a 300\u00b0 oven 1/2 hour. Serve over rice with sprinkled almonds.
