Hot Spiced Tomato Juice - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 qt. tomato or V-8 juice
1 bay leaf (2-inch size)
1 tsp. dry mustard
1 Tbsp. salt
3 oz. onion
4 cloves
2 stalks celery, partially trimmed
1 qt. beef consomme
sour cream
parsley flakes
Preparation
-
Boil together all ingredients; strain and serve hot.
Garnish with sour cream dollops and parsley flakes (or fresh sprigs).
May be reheated.
Wonderful for cold weather.
