Favorite Pecan Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 unbaked 9-inch pastry shell
3 eggs
1 c. sugar
1 c. light corn syrup
2 Tbsp. melted butter or margarine
1/8 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla extract
about 1 1/2 to 2 c. pecan halves
Preparation

Prick bottom and sides of pastry shell; bake at 400\u00b0 for 5 minutes.
Set aside to cool.
Beat eggs until light and lemon colored; add sugar and corn syrup, beating until fluffy.
Add butter, salt and vanilla; stir well.
Pour filling into pastry shell.
Top with pecan halves.
Bake at 300\u00b0 for 1 hour and 45 minutes or until center is firm.
Yield:
One 9-inch pie.
