Pepper Jelly - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. bell pepper, chopped
1 1/2 c. cider vinegar
3/4 c. hot pepper, chopped
1 (6 oz.) bottle Certo
red or green food coloring
Preparation

Combine sugar, vinegar and peppers; bring to a rolling boil. Cook 7 minutes.
Add Certo and stir.
Take off heat; let stand 5 minutes.
Add a few drops of food coloring; pour into jars and seal.
This is good with beans, meats, etc.
It can also be used as a snack.
Spread Ritz crackers with cream cheese and top crackers with Pepper Jelly.
