Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 yeast cake
    1/2 c. cold water
    1/2 c. boiling water
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. sugar
    1 egg
    1/2 c. shortening
    3 c. flour
Preparation
    Dissolve yeast in lukewarm water.
    Cream sugar, shortening and salt.
    Add boiling water.
    Add a little flour to cool.
    Add egg mixture and a little flour.
    Add water, yeast and rest of flour. Roll and put in icebox.
    Remove 1 1/2 to 2 hours before cooking.
